My Philosophy
Documentary/Lifestyle photography for Motherhood, Newborn and Family. Story telling is at the heart of Clare’s art, which specialises in human connectivity and emotive imagery.
Motherhood sessions are her love language. She is fascinated by the delicate unearthing of woman to mother, and the deep rooted relationship that begins in the womb and beyond.
With a strong emphasis on documentary style photography, the shoots are relaxed, naturalistic and candid, with minimal direction, resulting in meaningful, honest, timeless photographs.
‘For me, it’s not about capturing a perfectly styled or posed image. It’s about capturing the feeling. My hope is that you will look back at these images and find yourself there, exactly as you were, a moment in time’.

Hello! I'm Clare, a documentary-style photographer for family, motherhood and personal branding, working in Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding Dorset. I specialise in capturing ‘real’ lives and honest moments in an artful way.
My career in the creative arts began after graduating from The School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University in 2010. Here, I obtained a first-class honours degree in design and have spent the last decade navigating the industry as both an employee and a freelance creative.
My photography has grown organically over the years and although my style has evolved, my fascination for capturing human connection, intimacy and raw emotion remains the same. It’s a huge honour to create a collection of images that are part of a personal story and I know that this is the most meaningful and fulfilling creative work I’ve ever done.
