Clare Johnson is a visual storyteller focused on documenting people, craft, place, and the environment. Guided by narrative and human connection, she collaborates with brands to create soulful imagery that feels intentional and aligned with their values, reflecting the unique character of the people and spaces she photographs.

From gardens to flower farms, makers’ studios, and wild green spaces, she works with warmth, professionalism, and a sharp creative eye to capture real moments and meaningful stories.

In her personal work, she explores themes of community, alongside social and environmental issues, and is particularly interested in the relationship between people and the natural world.

Clare studied at The School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University, graduating in 2010. Her work has appeared in various publications, including: House and Garden Magazine, Uppercase Magazine and Glue, a curated anthology of contemporary craft and design published by Uppercase.
