Roxy Banks Studio.

This session was created to document Roxy Banks, a Dorset-based ceramicist, working within her home studio. The aim was to produce a collection of process-led images that reflect the tactile nature of her work and offer insight into her creative practice.

We spent a morning together capturing a typical workday in the studio, from shaping and refining pieces at the wheel to the slower, moments in between. Every element of Roxy’s process was carefully photographed, including details of her materials, tools, and finished ceramics.

The goal of this branding shoot was to provide Roxy with a library of images she could use across her website, online shop, and marketing materials, images that show her work and tell the story behind it.

Her ceramics are designed to be held and used, and the photographs reflect this physical, grounded connection to her craft, and the care, time, and intention that goes into creating each one.
