What I Offer: Relaxed, Client-led, Brand Photography Sessions.
When you’re considering brand photography, one of the first questions is often a practical one. What do I actually need?
Not everyone is looking for the same thing. Some people need a small collection of images to refresh their website or social media. Others are looking for something slightly more expansive. I primarily work with brands and individuals whose work is shaped by the materials they use, the process, and a connection to the place they work. Because of this, I offer a small number of session types. Each one is designed to give you a different level of depth, depending on what your business needs.
A Natural, Observational Way of Working
No matter the session you choose, the way I work remains the same.
I photograph in a relaxed, documentary-led way. There is no pressure to perform or present yourself in a particular way. I pay attention to what is already there. How you move, how you work, the materials you use, and the details of your environment.
This approach to lifestyle brand photography is particularly suited to creative businesses and those working closely with the land or by hand. It allows me to create images that feel honest and grounded. You do not need to be confident in front of the camera. You simply need to be yourself within your work.
The Sessions:
Environmental Portrait Sessions:
These sessions are centred around you.
They are a gentle and focused way of creating a set of images that show the person behind the brand. You can be photographed in your own space or somewhere that feels connected to your work. This might be your studio, workshop, garden, or an outdoor setting such as woodland or the coast around Poole and Dorset.
These sessions are ideal for artists, makers, and creatives who want natural personal branding photography that feels simple but completely you.
Shorter Brand Sessions:
A slightly more flexible session that allows for a mix of portraits and light story telling imagery.
These sessions are often chosen by small creative businesses who are perhaps launching a business and want imagery to kick start their website or social media content with a cohesive set of images. There is enough time to explore the process while keeping the experience relaxed.
Half-Day Brand Photography Sessions:
This is where we begin to go deeper.
Half-day sessions allow us to photograph not just you, but your process, your products, your environment, and the materials you work with. Whether that is floristry, ceramics, textiles, or working with the landscape, there is space to document the details that define your practice.
This type of creative business photography works well if you are looking to build a strong and consistent visual identity across your website and marketing.
Full-Day Brand Photography Sessions:
A full-day session offers a more complete way of telling the story of your work.
With more time, we can move between locations, work with different qualities of light, outfit changes and capture the rhythm of your day. This might include time in the studio, the process, materials, portraits out in the landscape, or capturing your space and product shots for your website.
For florists, growers, garden designers, and other nature-led businesses, this allows for a body of images that reflects both process and place.
Ongoing Content Photography:
For some businesses, photography is not something that happens once. It becomes part of how they communicate over time.
I offer a quarterly brand photography package for brands who need regular content. These shorter, recurring shoots allow your imagery to grow alongside your work and the seasons that shape it.
A Complete Set of Images
I don’t ask you to select a limited number of images from your gallery.
I deliver a full, curated set of final photographs from the session. This allows the work to feel complete, rather than reduced to a small selection.
All images are included within the flat rate fee, so there is no need to choose or leave anything behind.
These images are ready to use across your website, social media, and marketing. More importantly, they are created to feel like a true reflection of your work, your space, and your identity as a brand.
Choosing the Right Session
If you are unsure which session is right for you, that is completely fine.
Most people do not arrive knowing exactly what they need. We always talk through your work, your ideas, and how you would like to use your images. You can also read an earlier post which explains the process from initial enquiry to final images here.
From there, we can decide on a session that feels aligned.
A Final Thought
If you’d like to create imagery that feels real. Your work, your materials, your environment, and the way you move within it. Please do get in touch here, I’d love to hear from you.
